Description
Early 2000s. During a trip out of town with colleagues, an elderly university teacher, Chen, picks up a dirty and frightened puppy on the road. No one agrees to take the dog for himself, so the man has to quietly bring him home, although his wife hates dogs. Having promised that he would find a new home for the puppy, Chen nevertheless refuses all applicants - this is how the dog gets the nickname Hachiko and becomes a new member of the family.
