Штрих-код

How to calculate the checksum of a barcode

1. Add up the numbers in even places of the bar code 7+9+4+3+9+1=33
2. Multiply the resulting amount by three 33*3=99
3. Add up the numbers in odd places of the bar code (except for the check digit itself) 9+8+9+3+3+0=32
4. Add the numbers obtained in paragraphs 2 and 3 99+32=131
5. Drop the tens 131-130=1
6. Subtract from the number 10 received in paragraph 5 10-1=9

The result must match the check digit, which allows the "naked eye" to assess the authenticity of the bar code and the quality of the goods.
