Description

Widower Viktor Stepanovich is a man of the old school. He adheres to the harshest views in the upbringing of his grandson Lyosha. He wants Alexei not to grow up to be a wimp, like his daughter's current fiance. Due to the tense situation and another conflict with his daughter, Viktor Stepanovich has a heart attack. The doctor reports a disappointing prognosis: the grandfather has three months left to live, and even the operation does not guarantee recovery. After refusing treatment, the man decides on a desperate act — to kidnap his own grandson. The two of them embark on a trip full of adventures and grandfatherly instructions.
