Description
Female astronaut Sam Walker returns to Earth after her first space mission, but the capsule’s re-entry into the atmosphere does not go according to plan. For a brief moment, communication with the spacecraft is lost, the capsule is damaged, and Sam’s body becomes covered with bruises and abrasions. The descent module eventually splashes down in the middle of the ocean. Sam is rescued and placed in quarantine in a luxurious, isolated forest mansion in Virginia, under the supervision of General William Harris — her adoptive father. Sam soon notices that her injuries are not healing, and strange, inexplicable events begin to occur in the house. The girl starts to suspect that something extraterrestrial may have returned with her from space.
