Fellow travelers (2025)

Description

Young programmer Kirill dreams of presenting his startup to the influential businessman Oleg Potapov. But instead of a business meeting, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous and comical chase. Potapov, together with Katya, flees from pursuers and suddenly mistakes Kirill for his old friend Sizoy. Under a hail of bullets, Potapov literally throws Kirill into a car, and they escape the pursuers together. During the chase, it becomes clear that after a head injury, Potapov developed a rare form of amnesia: he perceives himself and the world around him as if it were the booming 1990s. Potapov’s deputy, Zharinov, hires professor Eldantsev and event organizer Svidunov. Together, they conduct a therapeutic quest for the businessman according to Eldantsev’s methodology, fully recreating Potapov’s adventures from the 90s, when he and his partner Sizoy faced gangsters trying to seize their business.
