OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE AGL RAIL AUTOMATIC GRAIN LABORATORY

1. After transporting the sample from the sampler to the laboratory via pneumatic conveyor and a turbine, it enters the homogenizer hopper, equipped with a screw mixer to mix the sample and ensure homogeneity.

2. Next, the entire collected sample is unloaded from the homogenizer hopper into the homogenized sample hopper, which begins moving along the rail, stopping periodically above the express analyzers and other equipment to unload dosed subsamples:

• a) A portion of the sample is poured into a drum or flat-screen laboratory separator, from which, after cleaning it of impurities, the sample is automatically transported by pneumatic conveyor to the IR analyzer.
• b) A portion of the sample is poured into the moisture meter;
• c) a portion of the sample is poured into a sample packer (semi-automatic or automatic);
• d) a portion of the sample is poured into a container for additional analysis (determining organoleptic and biochemical properties, as well as the amount of impurities);
• e) the remainder of the sample is poured into a surplus sample return hopper, which is returned pneumatically to the truck bed or another point in the elevator.
