In December 2017, the building of the Cinema House was demolished in connection with the construction of the Tashkent City International Business Center. The museum was temporarily moved to the Navoi Cinema Palace. From 2019-2021, the Museum of Cinema of Uzbekistan carried out its activities in the building of the National Agency "Uzbekkino" (now the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan). In 2021, as part of the Tashkent International Film Festival, a new exposition and exhibition hall of the Museum of Cinematography of Uzbekistan was created in the building of the House of Cinematographers (formerly. The Navoi Cinema Palace, the Panoramic cinema), in connection with which the museum moved for further activities.
