The Alpomish Ice Palace opened in Tashkent on 12/26/2022 on the site of the former Yubileyny sports complex. The complex near the Beruni metro station was originally built as the Yubileyny Sports Palace and opened in 1970. Hockey, figure skating, volleyball and other sports competitions were held here. The ice was maintained throughout the year. In the 1990s, the ice palace was converted into a shopping mall. In the 2000s, the complex was reconstructed into the exhibition pavilion "Uzkurgazmasavdo".
